Our resolve to salvage Kogi State unshaken – APC Chairman, Ametuo

The Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) Alhaji Haddy Ametuo, says the ruling party remains committed to save Kogi State from its current predicament which according to him was inherited from the previous administration.
Ametuo who made this known in a statement issued to DAILY POST on Thursday also appealed to members of their party to remain patient, supportive, and should not be distracted by the internal crisis in the party.

The State APC chairman who admitted that their coming to power in Kogi State was divine in 2015 said the party has no reason to fail the people.
“God has a reason for using us to remove PDP from the governance of logic state. We must not disappoint God. We should look beyond all the temptations and take the state out of this Egypt.”
“We joined the APC because of its manifesto and our belief that it can take Nigeria and by extension, Kogi State out of the PDP_ induced Socio-economic kwashiokor and chronic maladministration.”
“We are also blessed with a president, Muhammad Buhari who is already sanitizing the rot handed to us by the political misfit called PDP.”

He expressed confidence in the recently constituted high-powered reconciliation committee headed by Major General Idris Garibaldi, stressing that the committee is doing it’s best to do justice to the crises in the state chapter of their party.
“Party supremacy is sacrosanct in our party. We are morally and statutorily obliged to respect and adhere to the final decision of our national leadership on this reconciliation. We shall resolve this ‘family affair very soon to the delight of all party members, ” he added.
