Woman buries own heart in emotional ceremony [VIDEO]

A transplant survivor who survived a cardiac arrest has in an emotional ceremony buried her old heart following a lifesaving surgery.
The 46 year old mother, Sharon Fidel, from Isreal suffered heart problems for more than a decade after becoming pregnant with her daughter, this necessitated the urgent need for a transplant donor

Three months ago, she received a heart from the family of a 16-year-old who died in fatal traffic accident.

The Isreali Artist who shared the video of her self during the emotional ceremony was seen wearing a pair of latex gloves and takes her old heart, which is in a white plastic bucket, out of the back of her car.
She explained that her heart was being kept in the pathology department of a hospital for research purposes.

It took several attempts before she could remove the heart from the bucket before placing it in the hole she already dug as her hands were shaking.

Speaking to Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, she said: “Everything is authentic in the film, and I trembled when I put the heart into the ground. I believe that, additionally, the excitement and fear of attempting to really touch the organ and pick it up – all those things caused the trembling. It was very scary.”
In a message alongside the video, she wrote: “Thank you, beloved, loveable, man who saved my life.”
