There is governance failure in Ekiti – APC chieftain, Debo Ajayi
Ajayi said he was joining the race “because of governance failure in Ekiti”, adding that there was urgent need to rescue the people from hunger, want, unemployment and poverty.”
Ajayi promised that he would attract investors into Ekiti using his wealth of experience in Canada, USA , South Africa and Dubai, where he had worked and built different careers to create wealth for the teeming unemployed youths.
He also pledged to invest heavily in community-based health care system, youth-based commercial agriculture and Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) to redirect the state’s economy from depending solely on federal allocations
Ajayi said: “About 40 % registered voters in Ekiti are between ages 18 and 30 and over 85% of them are idle. It is either they are unemployed or underemployed, in fact, many Ekiti youths and bright ones are wasting away.
