Anambra will vote individuals, not political party – Ezeemo
Ezeemo, a businessman, industrialist, farmer, publisher and philanthropist stated this in an interview with our correspondent, saying that the people of the state are a lot wiser, and would vote according to the impact the candidates have made in the state.
Ezeemo called on Anambra people not to base their criteria for voting on political parties, but to evaluate the individual candidates of the party, their antecedents and what they have been able to do in the state.
He said there are some aspirants whose only achievement in the state are the flamboyant lifestyle they live, and have no visible investments in the state employing even a single person.
“People are looking for credibility, so that is where the chance of PPA comes from. But let me tell you something, Parties will not count in this election, what will count are the candidates. Anambra people will vote for good candidates and not parties.
“These people drive around in big cars on returning from Abuja every weekend and people think they have money because of such lifestyle, but ask them what they have done for their people, you find out that their highest achievement may just be that they gave out money or food to people.
“In My case, I left the UK where I was living, relocated all my businesses down here and they are employing a good number of our youths today. My fulfillment in business is that I have a lot of people who are making a living because they are employed to us.
“All my companies are here.”
