Anambra election: Chidoka receives certificate of return

The former Chief Executive Officer the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Chief Osita Chidoka, has promised to restore Anambra State to its pride of place.
Chidoka made this promise after receiving his certificate of return to fly the flag of the United Peoples Party, in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State.

The former Aviation Minister, on Wednesday received the certificate from the party’s National Chairman, Chief Chekwas Okorie during a ceremony at the party’s National Secretariat, in Abuja.
Chidoka polled 1,222 votes to defeat his opponent, Hon Chudi Offodile who got 87 votes in the primary election, which held in Awka.
He consequently emerged the candidate for the United Progressive Party, UPP, for the November 18 governorship election in the State.
