Manchester United are bracing themselves for a £50million bid for David De Gea from Real Madrid.
United were confident they had headed off Real’s interest in De Gea
for another summer, but the La Liga champions are ready to swoop for the
goalkeeper once again.
According to the UK Mirror, sources close to both clubs have claimed
Real have begun to make fresh advances towards the Spain international,
in a new attempt to lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
However, the Red Devils are determined to keep De Gea, despite boss
Jose Mourinho’s confidence in No.2 Sergio Romero and his third-choice
keeper, Portuguese prodigy Joel Pereira.
But an offer in excess of £50m, would test their resolve to keep hold
of De Gea, who has made no secret of his desire to one day return home,
with Real his obvious destination.
