Oghene Egoh is an ingrate – PDP blasts Rep member for attacking Makarfi

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described Hon. Oghene Egoh‎, a members of the House of Representatives ‎as an ingrate.
Hon. Oghene Egoh, a PDP member representing Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, was alleged to have blamed the factionalisation of the party in the state to “hostility” by the Makarfi group and Chief Bode George.

Taofik Gani, PDP spokesman in Lagos, in a statement on Thursday said Oghene was confused or still in shock over the aftermath of the Supreme Court judgement which recognised Senator Makarfi and not Ali Modu Sheriff.
“The Makarfi leadership has continuously recognised the Moshood Salvador led Exco and the Supreme Court judgment affirming Makarfi consequentially recognises Salvador”, it said.

“Hon. Oghene can seek knowledge on this new development if, as it is obvious he is uninformed or deliberately misrepresenting facts.

“The Party is now with a legal and unambiguous leadership and this is where loyalty should be.
“Hon. Oghene was with Sheriff and never supported Makarfi/Salvador and if he can now deny that fact, then he can deny even Nigeria if he is burdened with any national responsibility.
“He is a suspect-Representative. We admonish him to act as a gallant looser, respect elders and pledge loyalty to the legitimate leadership in the state”, he noted.
