Paris Saint-Germain have gazumped Manchester City to the signing of
Dani Alves, after they offered the Brazilian right-back double what the
Premier League club had on the table.
Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, on Tuesday revealed details of the smart
transfer move, that will see PSG sign the former Juventus and Barcelona
defender.
“PSG giving Dani Alves two-year deal worth £25m. He’ll be on £240,000
a week. Man City were offering the 34-year-old about £115,000 a week,”
Solhekol tweeted.
Alves is already in Paris and was set to undergo his medicals on Tuesday .
The Ligue 1 outfit have flown newlywed Alves and wife, Joana Sanz,
into the French capital to put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract.
The transferis expected to be confirmed on Wednesday or Thursday.
