Gov. Bello proposes N11bn supplementary budget, seeks Assembly approval
Bello said the supplementary budget would take care of, “certain areas of economic development that were not previously captured in the budget, adding that it would enable the administration continue in executing its projects and programmes.
The Governor in a letter sent to the Kogi State House of Assembly, seeking the approval of the supplementary budget said it will also address security issues and other obvious sectors challenges that are within and outside the current approved budget.
Speaker Ahmed Imam, after reading the letter before his colleagues directed the Majority Leader of the House, Mathew Kolawole to slate it on the order paper for consideration at the next legislative day.
The House is expected to consider the Governor’s request when member resumes sitting on 1st August, 2017.
