Allegri’s dressing room rules made me quit Juventus – Dani Alves

Dani Alves has revealed that one of the reasons he left Juventus, was because of manager Massimiliano Allegri’s strict dressing room rules.
The Brazilian who left the Serie A champions as a free agent, has signed a two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Speaking as a PSG player, Alves opened up about his time at Juventus and revealed why he was so keen to cut ties with the Serie A giants.
“At first I had a lot of trouble because they didn’t understand me, on or off the pitch,” the right back told L’Equipe.
“It took some time to make the connection between what I thought and what they thought, and once we found that connection the results came.

Alves also admitted he was frustrated at the club, claiming that he was against the strict dressing room rules.
“Frustration? Here’s an example. In the dressing room, we weren’t allowed to put music on. I can’t live without music, without dancing.
“I’m not a crazy person who wants to change all the rules, and everyone has his own way or raising his energy and transmitting it to others.

“I was viewed with a bit of suspicion though. Little by little, it improved and we had a good second half of the season,” Alves said.
