Mercy Aigbe: Lanre Gentry begs actress openly, seeks reconciliation

Estranged husband to Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry has publicly apologized to her.
Gentry and Mercy parted ways after reports of the hotelier battering his wife emerged in social media few months ago.

Since then, there has been verbal battle between the couple with Mercy attending widows’ programs to show she has lost her husband.
Gentry in the other hand, had blasted the Lagos State government for making his ex-wife Ambassador for Widows.
The actress, sharing photos of another woman abused by husband, in a recent post on Instagram, had asked women not to hesitate to runaway from such union.

But putting all that aside in what looks like a reconciliatory move, Gentry took to his Instagram on Friday morning to beg his ex-wife openly.
He wrote, “For peace to reign, I’m going to bury all hatches and break the bone of contention between myself and Mercy Aigbe Gentry.
“I’m sorry to those I’ve hurt with my actions and comments/words.

“Mercy you claim that I’m begging you behind curtains, Ok, here I am begging you openly. I’m sorry!
“This drama is exhausting and I’m done with it all.”
“Despite all that have been happening; I don’t love you less. I still see you as the mother of my children and I want to give you the respect to that regard.”
