A Senior Legislative Assistant with National Assembly, Abubakar Sani Doki has died after collapsing in the national assembly.
Investigations reveal that Doki, an aide of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yussuf Suleiman Lasun, was rushed to the national assembly clinic on a wheel chair by his son at about 10:00 am on Monday. He gave up the ghost an hour later.
Doki, a bosom friend of Reps member, Ibrahim Babangida Mahuta, has been sick for sometime but was never hospitalized. The deceased hailed from Bungudu, Zamfara state and has since been buried according to Muslim rites.
