Bauchi Paid N79.3bn As Salary In One Year - Politics

The Bauchi State Government has refuted media reports that it received N72bn within the last one year as allocation from the Federal Government, with no commensurate development in the state to show for it.

The government, however, stated that it spent the sum of N79.3bn to pay workers’ salary, pension and other salary-related entitlements, out of the over N82.7bn it received.

The Press Secretary to the Bauchi State Governor, Abubakar Al-Sadique, in a statement made available to The PUNCH in Bauchi on Saturday, said that the government had nothing to hide in the area of the money it received from the Federal Government.
