EGALITARIAN:
I am Taiwo Bamigbade aka EGALITARIAN. A student of Federal University of Technology Akure,Ondo State.
DEMOCRAT:
Are you truly aspiring, if yes, which post are you aspiring for?
EGALITARIAN:
Yes. I'm aspiring for the position of Senate Presidency, National Association of Nigerian Students.
DEMOCRAT:
What do you understand by the post you are aspiring for?

EGALITARIAN:
Senate President is the head of the parliamentary arm of National Association of Nigerian Students.
He offers checks and balances/regulates the activities of the Executives in line with the constitution.
DEMOCRAT:
Will you be able to suspend or expel any official of the NANS found guilty
of negligence of duty, embezzlement or any forms of misappropriation of funds?
EGALITARIAN:
Yes..

DEMOCRAT:
Are you going to cut your share of the NANS cake and abandon your duty?
EGALITARIAN:
I will passionately discharge my duties to the betterment of welfare of Nigerian Students.
DEMOCRAT:
What will be your relationship with the Congress and Senators?
EGALITARIAN:
Our relationship with the Congress and Senators will be cordial as we plan to constantly be in touch with our Senators through campus tour, interactive sessions.
We also intend to create a working relationship with the parliamentary arm of all local unions in Nigeria.
DEMOCRAT:
Are you competent enough to hold that post, if yes, prove what you would do/can do when you emerge?
EGALITARIAN:
In our proposed program of action for Nigerian Students. We intend to:
* Champion educational reform
campaign and our area of focus are abolition of disparities in HND/BSC certificate and proper funding of technical education in Nigeria.
* Regular convey of Senate sitting.
* Creation of effective working relationship between the leadership of local unions and NANS through interactive sessions through state and Zonal arrangement Nation wide.
DEMOCRAT:
Which posts of associations and organisations have you held before now?
EGALITARIAN:
Previous leadership experience are:
Vice President, Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union Government.
Public Relations Officer, National Association of Nigerian Students South West (Zone D).
General Secretary, Agricultural Economics and Extension Students Association.
Executive Chairman, Akindeko Hall of Residence, Federal University of Technology Akure,Ondo State.
DEMOCRAT:
Who can testify to the credibility of your candidacy or someone who can defend and trust your integrity as a leader?
EGALITARIAN:
Com Daniju Olusola, National President. National Union of Lagos state Students
Com Adeleye Damilare, Former SUG President. Federal University of Technology Akure and so on
DEMOCRAT:
Do you believe you would win? If yes, what give you the impression of winning?
EGALITARIAN:
Yes. We have absolute believe in God. With God victory is certain.
DEMOCRAT:
If you emerge, would you entertain criticisms or punish prophets of criticisms?
EGALITARIAN:
We will definitely entertain constructive criticisms.
DEMOCRAT:
The easiest thing to do in NANS is to attract smart leaders as advisors. How do we know that you know enough to not just accept what they say?
EGALITARIAN:
I have good, responsible, reasonable and smart leaders around me but I have an independent mind.
DEMOCRAT:
What is your perception about NANS campaign strategy, a case whereby one needs to travel all around?
EGALITARIAN:
Travelling round to campaign is the beauty of NANS.
DEMOCRAT:
There is no hunter without bitter experience in the bush. When/where did you regret being a comrade? Share us your experience.
EGALITARIAN:
I've never had any regret being a comrade.
DEMOCRAT:
What can you say about the postponement of NANS convention?
EGALITARIAN:
Postponement of NANS convention to me is a blessing in disguise.
DEMOCRAT:
What is your take about the current subsidy removal?
EGALITARIAN:
Fuel subsidy removal. As an economist in making, I supported fuel subsidy removal in 2012 and even now in 2016.
The clause is that the government has to be SINCERE with the masses and palliative should be put in place.
DEMOCRAT:
Do you fear defeat as an aspirant?
EGALITARIAN:
I don't fear defeat because our confidence is in almighty God. With God victory is certain.
DEMOCRAT:
What do you have to say to Senators (SUG President) who will decide on the Convention ground?
EGALITARIAN:
My advice to all Senators is that I Taiwo Bamigbade aka Egalitarian have to serve sincerely and I want to humbly seek for their support for the realisation of this Senate Presidency project.
I promise never to disappoint because I see beyond now.
DEMOCRAT:

EGALITARIAN:
